UVEC has joined with the Aroostook RSVP Program and become a Station in the Southern Aroostook area for people to sign up to volunteer.

Any Individual 55 years old or older interested in volunteering in our area please come to the UVEC Office to sign up. You will be placed in the area locally. You can specify the type of volunteer work that you wish to do.

Aroostook RSVP is sponsored by the Aroostook Agency on Aging, the Corporation for National and Community Service, the United Way of Aroostook and many local businesses. Aroostook RSVP was initiated in 1974 and has partnered with over 100 nonprofit agencies and public organizations throughout Aroostook County to place volunteers, who are 55 and older, in over 160 rewarding and fulfilling volunteer service opportunities. Over fifty percent of Aroostook RSVP volunteers are involved in assignments that are measured to meet these critical local needs.
